New compressed air supply for the Doberlug-Kirchhain site

Many processes in the plastics processing industry require compressed air for control. Alongside cooling water and electricity, a stable supply of compressed air is therefore essential for reliable production. To accommodate the expansion of the site, a new dual compressor system with changeover switching from Boge and a larger pressure vessel to absorb peak loads were installed. For a long service life and low power consumption, the compressors are speed-controlled via a frequency converter.
