Also this year, some new developments and projects will be presented at the fair:
Anjatech® antiknarz
Anjatech PC/ABS 050/75S-GM, Anjatech® PC/ABS 055/80-GM/GF10 and -GM/GF20 are sliding friction optimized PC/ABS grades. The materials have been specially modified for interior applications to reduce or prevent the unpleasant creaking noise caused by plastic components sliding on top of each other. The materials are also characterized by various outstanding properties – the very good strength and stiffness properties combined with high toughness, very good flow behavior and high heat resistance.
Marble effect
This development project deals with a through-dyed material which exhibit a marble effect on the surface. These materials can be used for a wide variety of design applications in the visible area – no further post-treatment is absolutely necessary. It is particularly worth mentioning, that each component is unique due to the special pigmentation.
Bio-based polyamide:
With regard to the further increasing topic of sustainability, sustainable or bio-based products are more and more in demand. These materials are polyamide alternatives that are made from renewable raw materials but do not occupy land areas on which food can alternatively be grown. The mechanical properties of the alternatives are at a good level compared to virgin materials. However, the lower heat deflection temperature must be taken into account when using them.
Impact-resistant PP
The development project “Anjatech® PP impact resistant” deals with increasing the ductility of polypropylene based virgin and recycled materials. These materials can be used, for example, wherever high toughness is required of the material. Among other things, they can also be used for crash-relevant components in the automotive sector. The development relates to unreinforced and reinforced PP grades.
Halogen-free flame-retardant PP
The aim of the “Anjaflam® PP-FRO” project is to develop a halogen-free flame-retardant PP compound which, in addition to halogen-free flame retardancy, also offers good mechanical properties, good flowability and the possibility of free coloring.
