In 2012, almaak started the production of its own textile fiber-based plastic compounds at the Doberlug-Kirchhain site as an additional resource for its own compounding.
Due to the growing interest from almaak’s customers, this year, the Anjaeco® brand was developed for unreinforced, near-to-prime qualities in the PA 6 and PA 6.6 polymer groups.
Anjaeco® products are unreinforced compounds whose raw material base consists of 100% pure synthetic fibers. These textile fibers can come from residual bobbins or yarns already woven into woven fabrics. They are processed into an Anjaeco® raw material by means of a special crushing and granulation unit in a multi-stage processing step.
Due to the origin of the raw material, which is usually directly derived from the reaction process, the Anjaeco® compounds combine two significant characteristics:
technical properties at the level of primary goods with up to 100% recycled material.
